Hasenberg

A guarantee of expressive white wines

Our white grape va­ri­eties such as Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc grow at the 'Hasen­berg' vine­yard site. Thanks to their me­ter-long roots the vines can work their way into the deep loess soils fea­tur­ing vol­canic resid­ual ma­te­ri­als which dom­i­nate the soil struc­ture at this lo­ca­tion.

Vulkanfelsen

The origin of all our characteristic wines

The 'Vulkanfelsen' vineyard site includes ­­our four single vineyard sites ­­­­'Hasen­berg', 'Ste­ingrüble', ­'Ölberg' and ­­'Teufels­burg', as well as those on the ­outskirts of ­­the ­­villages. This means ­­­that, at ­­­the 'Vulka­n­felsen' vine­yard, the wine­grow­ing vil­lages of ­­­­Königschaffhausen and ­­­Kiechlinsbergen are al­most reach­ing out to one an­other.

Ölberg

Filigree Pinots in ist purest elegance

The 'Ölberg' vine­yard site con­sists of purely south­ern fac­ing slopes. Pinot noir grapes thrive in the lower part of the vine­yard pam­pered by the warmth from the in­tense sun­light. The higher, cooler areas are planted with Pinot Gris vines

Teufelsburg

The Pinot Blanc's racy vein

The special structure of the 'Teufelsburg' vineyard site is characterised by deep loess soils that can store large amounts of water. These conditions perfectly satisfy the Pinot Blanc's high demands on the soil.
